Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord will release in its Early Access state on Steam in March of this year. In other words, you can actually play the sequel to the first game late next month on PC when March 31st, 2020, arrives. This information was announced in a new update that also touched on the game’s initial price.
TaleWorlds Entertainment early this month announced that it’s overhauling the game’s official forums to make sure the modding scene is par for the course. This move is said to affect Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord for the better, but we’ll see how that all pans out when it’s done.
In the meantime, gamers and fans alike can expect to play the medieval game soon given that its Steam Early Access due date is set for March 31st, 2020.
You can read the official announcement that TaleWorlds Entertainment released on steamcommunity.com as seen right here:
“Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord will be released in Early Access on 31st March 2020. The game will be available for purchase through Steam and TaleWorlds website, for $49.99/€49.99/£39.99.
More information about what to expect from Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord’s Early Access will be shared shortly before the release.”
What we can gather from this update is that the game will not run at full price when it launches on Steam Early Access, seeing that it will go for $49.99 / €49.99 / £39.99 starting on March 31st.
Also, more information about what to expect from the second title will be shared shortly before release. Hopefully, the team offers more details on the new in-house engine, but time will tell.
Although the forthcoming game is using a new in-house engine, the game will still boast mod support, crafting, the sandbox economy, diplomacy, and of course all-out war.
If all of that sounds like fun, more info on this game can be found by visiting taleworlds.com.
