The second April 2020 Open Discussion is here. In this topic-driven series, you can post up whatever it is that you like about video games or any other medium and will face no censorship when doing so. This series changes every week, however, it always revolves around video games and the like.
Every Sunday, a new Open Discussion appears on this site and examines a variety of situations and sometimes topics outside the culture of video games. In other words, this includes technology, interactive entertainment, comics, world news, and various mediums.
Moreover, if a comment of yours has disappeared and cannot be seen by other commenters, please do let us know so that we can try to fix the situation and restore your comment. Additionally, like any other post on this site, no form of censorship will be applied, which means that you can talk about anything without facing any problems.
With that said, this Open Discussion is about digital formats vs. physical media. What are your thoughts on the current state of video games and other mediums wanting to go digital? Do you think there should be more physical options, or do you think things are fine as they are?
In other words, do you want more physical formats for newer games, remakes, and so forth, or do you prefer digital over the former option?
Like any other Open Discussion, if you have something else on your mind and wish to share it, you are free to post it up right here without any restrictions. This means content unrelated to this very topic, which is about digital vs. physical media and if you prefer both or one over the other, can be shared without being moved to another section.
This week’s video game music comes from the 1998 game Burning Rangers:
