Phantasy Star Online 2 To Arrive On PC Via Windows 10 On May 27th, 2020

Sega’s Phantasy Star Online 2 will become available to pick up for PC via Windows 10 or the Microsoft Store on May 27th, 2020. However, the game itself is now available to download for free for those that happen to own an Xbox One.

PC goers will find that Phantasy Star Online 2 will be coming next week, but it’s only for the Windows 10 or Microsoft Store. In other words, if you aren’t a fan of said client or you don’t have it installed, then you can’t play the “new edition” of Phantasy Star Online 2:

I should note that all progress kept during the Xbox One closed and open beta can be transferred over to the PC version since there will be cross-play/save support:

Moreover, there are three versions of Phantasy Star Online 2 that folks can get for the Xbox One family of consoles, which will more than likely land on PC. These versions are Phantasy Star Online 2 Ragol Edition ($29.99) and Phantasy Star Online 2 Sonic Collaboration Edition ($59.99).

And speaking of PC, it’s unclear if Phantasy Star Online 2 will launch on Steam given that back in early February, the JRPG had a listing for said client. In the meantime, the game is currently “restricted” to the Microsoft Store if you want to play it on PC.

Lastly, you can get this game for free right now across the Xbox One family of consoles, while the PC version will launch late this month via the Microsoft Store.
