The fifth part of the fully colored comic book of Aurion: Legacy of the Kori-Odan has released. The comic is part of what Kiro’o Games is calling their “Man-Kra”, which is like a mix between Korea’s “Manhwa” and Japan’s “Manga”.
The fifth part joins the other released segments of the Aurion comic series, bringing the total chapter count to 14 with 100 fully colored comic book pages.
The comic is also being used a test-bed for future projects, with Pondy George, the studio’s lead artist explaining in the press release…
“Visually, each comic book release serves as a “lab” for us to experiment with a new way
of coloring, inking, cutting out panels and even writing. We think we’re still in the infancy
of what Aurion is going to become.”
You can get a glimpse of some of the artwork with the promotional trailer below.
The comic originally started in July of 2018, some time after the game was first published. The game itself was actually crowdfunded through Kickstarter and was released in late 2016. The game was praised for its original take on regarding the topic matter, but the actual gameplay still left a lot to be desired, since it was made by a nascent studio.
According to the press release, chapters 1 – 9 are available in black and white for free over on Mangadraft, allowing those who want to get caught up on the story to check out the history of the comic leading up to the latest chapter.
If you were actually interested in the ongoing Aurion comic book saga, the fifth part of the comic is available both digitally and physically.
You can either get it for Kindle or via paperback from over on Amazon.
Keep in mind, however, that Amazon is on the Traitors of America master list, so think twice before you make use of their services.
