After many leaks, it looks like Activision and Toys for Bob will reveal the next Crash Bandicoot game dubbed “It’s About Time.” The event is slated for tomorrow and will show off content that’s “greater than the leaks.”
After assisting Vicarious Visions to churn out Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy back in 2017, Toys for Bob went on to make Spyro Reignited Trilogy in 2018. Both titles published by Activision will be accompanied by yet another game dubbed Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time.
It’s unclear when this new Crash Bandicoot game will release, but in the meantime, a reveal trailer will be published on June 22nd, 2020, at 8:00 A.M. PDT / 4:00 P.M. BST. Here’s a tweet from the official Crash Bandicoot Twitter account announcing said news:

Thanks to early leaks of the game, here’s a description explaining Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time’s story:
“Crash is relaxing and exploring his island in his time, 1998, when he finds a mysterious mask hidden away in a cave, Lani-Loli. The mask is one of the Quantum Masks and apparently knows Aku-Aku, Crash’s mask friend!
With the Quantum Masks returning and a Quantum Rift appearing near our heroes, they decide to bravely head through to different times and dimensions to stop whoever is responsible.”
On the topic of leaks, images also show PS4 and Xbox One support, which means the game will not release as a PlayStation exclusive. Moreover, seeing that the newly announced game is going to be on multiple platforms, expect a PS5 and Xbox Series X edition in the foreseeable future.
No word on a PC version has popped up, but we’ll find out what all platforms this game will land on come June 22nd, 2020.
