Electronic Arts or EA — a multi-time member of the Traitors of America Master List — has launched its first wave of games on Steam. This means folks can now play over 25 plus EA titles on PC via Steam. As it stands now, more EA published games will later hit Valve’s digital client in the foreseeable future.
If you want more DRM, another client, and activation or software installation of Origin to obtain the following games, then know that that possibility is now a thing. In other words, if you already own Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst, Need For Speed: Heat, or any of the other games on Origin, you’re essentially paying for said games twice if you follow through with this “deal.”
The above information comes from ea.com, which details the number of titles coming to Steam by EA and the developers associated with the publisher. With that said, you can check out the list of games right here:
- Fe
- Crysis 3
- Sea of Solitude
- Unravel
- Unravel 2
- Dragon Age 2
- Dragon Age: Inquisition
- Need for Speed
- Need for Speed: Heat
- Need for Speed: Rivals
- Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst
- Burnout Paradise Remastered
- Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville
It’s also worth noting that the above games will be available as part of an EA Access subscription on Steam. This subscription will launch to players later this summer as noted below:
“These games will also be available as part of an EA Access subscription on Steam that will launch to players later this summer. A library of titles awaits you in The Vault, but beyond the games themselves, EA Access enhances your gaming experience with a medley of rewards. Get the red-carpet treatment with exclusive catalog-wide discounts, and in-game member benefits for some of our biggest franchises.”
Lastly, EA will release more information on this Steam initiative and upcoming games during EA Play Live. The event in question will kick-off on EA’s official website, starting at 4:00 P.M. PST on June 11th, 2020.
