CI Games announced that Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 will arrive this fall for home consoles and PC. Specifically, the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on the console front, and presumably (and hopefully) on Steam and GOG.com on the PC front.
Back in late March it was announced that the game would be released later into 2020, but we didn’t know exactly when in 2020. Well, now the release window has been narrowed down to the fall, all we need now is a release date so we know exactly when in the fall the game will release.
The fall launch window was confirmed recently with a tweet by the official Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 account on June 22nd, 2020.

They also confirmed that this is not an add-on or a glorified expansion pack, but an all new entry in the ongoing Sniper Ghost Warrior series.
One of the big questions a lot of gamers had when it was first announced was whether or not the game would become an Epic Games Store timed exclusive, and so far we still don’t have any confirmation on that.
The original Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts launched on GOG.com and Steam, and it would make sense if the sequel followed suit, but there’s really no guarantee at this point.
For now, you can keep an eye on the official website to see if they reveal what digital platforms the game will be available for on PC.
Most gamers are hoping that CI Games takes their time with this outing and that it’s not a rush-job or half-done. Remember, it’s been less than a year since the last game came out, so a lot of gamers are rightfully worried about the potential quality control for the sequel.
