Final Fantasy VII Remake: Part 2 Will Release As Soon As Possible, As Per Report

According to a new report, Final Fantasy VII Remake: Part 2 has entered full production, and the game’s director seems to have a delivery window in mind. This information comes from a new interview that sees Tetsuya Nomura wanting to ship the second part of the remake “as soon as possible.”

Website videogameschronicle.com has picked up a new interview in the latest Japanese Famitsu magazine that features Nomura in it. Nomura’s thoughts on part two of Final Fantasy VII Remake sit below:

“We know that everyone wants the next installment quickly. We would also like to deliver it as soon as possible. Since we were also able to see the line of quality from the first installment, we hope to make the next installment even better in quality that can make for an even better experience.

We would like to get it out as soon as possible, so please wait for it. I think we can clearly convey the direction when we officially announce the next installment.”

The website sourced Twitter user Audrey to obtain the above information. However, you can read the Twitter user’s notes right here via Ryokuta2089.com:

News of Final Fantasy VII Remake: Part 2 going into production popped up way back in April of this year. However, it’s unclear if part two of Final Fantasy VII Remake will be on two-discs or if it will be a PS4/PS5 (timed) exclusive?

While we wait to find out, the second part hasn’t been affected by Final Fantasy VII Remake’s delay. With that said, during E3 2019, Square Enix president Yosuke Matsuda said that work on the second installment would be made easier after the first game releases to the wild.

On that note, the first part is out right now for PS4, which means we might hear more about the second part sometime later this year. Lastly, you can learn more about the above info by paying any of the given links a visit.
