Microsoft and Dlala Studios (with the assistance of Rare Studios) will release the CalArts edition of Battletoads across PC and Xbox One on August 20th, 2020. In the meantime, the devs unveiled the upcoming game’s official PC specs for gamers to look over.
Battletoads is yet another victim of [current-year] CalArts, but whether or not that bothers you it’s worth noting that Dlala Studios has released the official PC specs for the public to look over.
However, before running over what your PC or laptop needs to run the game, here’s video footage of the August due beat ’em up game in action:
“It’s been quite a while – 26 years, in fact – but at long last, the Battletoads are ready to morph, leap and smash their way back into the limelight for an all-new adventure helmed by Dlala Studios and supported by series creator Rare, a partnership first teased during E3 2018’s Xbox showcase.
Whether this is your first time encountering the warty warriors or you consider yourself a Battletoads veteran, you won’t have long to wait until the trio burst back onto the scene. Battletoads will be available on August 20 for Xbox Game Pass members to download and play on Xbox One and Windows 10, and will also be available to buy on Xbox One, Windows 10 and Steam the same day!”
Now that you know what the game has to offer both visually and gameplay-wise, the minimum PC specs are asking those interested to have at least 15GB of space free:

It’s worth noting that sometimes some companies like to put “Windows 10” as the required OS, but contrary to that, Apex Legends (which on launch day showed that players needed Windows 10 to run the game) supported other OS types. Anyway, here are the recommended PC Specs:
