A nice reference to Fallout 3 and New Vegas is the old trusty Lever Action Rifle. If you have the Far Harbor DLC for Fallout 4, folks will be able to snag both the Lever Action Rifle and the Old Reliable weapons. In this guide, players will be able to find their locations, which can be found on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
Finding the old faithful rifles from the previous Fallout games is something nice to see, although it would have been a bit better if they weren’t DLC and could be found in the vanilla version. But anyways, the Far Harbor update now offers two variations of the Lever Action Rifle that fires another projectile.
It doesn’t take much to actually find these trusty rifles and they’re very simple to come across while exploring the new wasteland of Maine. Simply head to Far Harbor and defend the town when arriving to said location. After this segment you will be able to buy from a vendor named Allen, who will be selling the Lever Action Rifle. Something worth noting, the price may vary depending on your perks and skills.
DemonAsylum has a video showing how to get the new gun, what modifications are available and how it fairs in combat.
The next rifle that’s basically the same as the one above, known as Old Reliable, shoots an extra projectile, increasing the damage output one deals to enemies around and about. This weapon too can be found in a vendors shop by heading to Arcadia, and talking to Dejen. Both rifles use the new ammunition the 45-70 caliber rounds. FudgeMuppet has a 48 second long video showcasing it in action.
Fallout 4 is out now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, which tags along with its three DLCs — Automatron, Wasteland Workshop and the new Far Harbor expansion.
