Halo 5: Guardians Will Be Free To Download From June 29th To July 5th

Fans who enjoy playing Halo: 5 Guardians will be treated to something new called Warzone Firefight, while those who are on the fence about Halo 5 will be able to test the game out for free (if you Xbox Live Gold) from June 29th to July 5th.

Every Halo 5: Guardians fan should know that the dev team constantly treats folks with free content from last year’s October up until now. The latest new content stands as the eighth free installment — Warzone Firefight. This update is said to be as big as the original game’s release, which was noted by the devs, and will arrive next Wednesday (on June 29th) for fans to try out.

Furthermore, those who are on the fence and don’t know if the game is worth it can get the full experience for free if they have Xbox Live Gold, which will last from June 29th to July 5th. This comes in as Xbox Live’s “Free Play Days” deal that will be joined by a 50% off sale.

In addition to the above, the devs even took to the official Xbox Wire blog to announce this information, which reads:

“To celebrate the release of Warzone Firefight next week, the full game of Halo 5: Guardians will be available to download and play FOR FREE to all Xbox Live Gold members from June 29 to July 5 as part of Xbox Live’s “Free Play Days” program. Additionally, Halo 5: Guardians will be on sale for 50 percent off during this same time. There’s no better time to join the Spartan ranks!”

The team also posted up some images showing more REQ cards and other new stuff that fans can look over. I’m sure this information will please a lot of people who are interested in the game, but are hesitate about laying down some cash for it. With that said, you can view what the team posted.
