WWE 2K17 Available For Download On Steam February 7th

2K Games’ WWE 2K17 already released on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4 in October of 2016 last year, but it’s now set to arrive on PC starting next month on February 7th.

The game’s Steam store page is currently live, revealing details about Visual Concepts and Yuke’s latest entry in the long running WWE 2K series.

There are two versions available, the standard $49.99 version and the deluxe edition, which is available for pre-purchase for $74.99.

If you’re wondering what the difference is between the two versions, 2K Games is promoting the Deluxe Edition as having $50 worth of DLC tucked inside. Yes, they’re literally advertising that the WWE 2K17 Deluxe Edition has enough DLC to be worth an entirely new game.

Let that sink in for a minute.

Done with the sinking? Good, let’s get back to work.

The Deluxe Edition contains the base game, the WWE 2K17 MyPlayer Kick Start, an NXT Enhancement Pack, an Accelerator, a Legends pack, a New Moves pack, a Future Stars pack, and the Hall of Fame Showcase.

Some of you might remember that the Hall of Fame showcase was featured in WWE 2K16 but was removed in WWE 2K17. Well, now it’s back… just part of the DLC.

The PC version will receive some special perks, such as additional versions of Goldberg to play, including two different iterations of the iconic mega-star, one from his WCW days and one from his WWE days. They also have two different arenas from WCW included as well, the WCW Monday Nitro arena and the iconic Halloween Havoc arena where Goldberg and DDP tore the house down in an intense 15 minute match.

Many of the other standard features will also be included that were present in the home console versions, including the MyCareer mode, the WWE Universe mode, the new WWE Promo Engine that allows you to sculpt the ebb and flow of your promos in-game, along with the seamless addition of NXT. You will start from the bottom and work your way up to the top. Unfortunately you can’t bang the boss’ daughter, avoid paying your dues and instantly become the ruler of the WWE universe like a certain someone.
