An oddly popular game from Sega’s publishing house is Motorsport Manager. The game managed to find a rather solid audience in the PC strategy arena. Well, Sega wants to expand that audience by courting gamers with a free copy of the game that’s available all week long.

Between March 20th and March 27th gamers will be able to download Motorsport Manager through Steam for free.

If you like what you play, you can purchase the game to own it at a 50% off discount that will last alongside the free week of gameplay.

For those of you who have no idea what Motorsport Manager is about or how it works, there’s actually a new video that they released that details some of the differences of how to modify the aerodynamics of the car.

It gets pretty technical, where there’s talk about the wing and drag, acceleration and top speed, as well as setting up your gearbox so that you can get through the tracks in the quickest way possible.

There’s a lot of useful info tossed out in the video that explains how to balance out your car for the different track setups, and how to garner feedback from your crew to gain the ultimate advantage while on the track.

As for the game itself, the object is to hire a crew, hire drivers, hire management and get a hold of a car as you attempt to take the racing circuits by storm.

Playsport Games also recently released patch 1.31 to coincide with the free week and you can get your hands on the game, the patch and a few pieces of free DLC right now by hitting up the Steam store page.
