For those of you unfamiliar with Mick Gordon, he’s the same mind behind that absolutely kickbutt Doom soundtrack.
The music in that game was perfect for ripping and tearing, and it fit the Doom Guy and his doom-slaying ways perfectly.
Prey is being hailed as the second coming of System Shock. Some people enjoy it, some people don’t; some people are highly excited, some people aren’t. There’s generally a lot of positive feedback from the people who played the first hour of the game via the demo on home consoles, so you can take that for what it’s worth. You’ll be able to play the full game and test out the sci-fi shooter for yourself when it launches this Friday for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on May 5th.
