Destiny: Xur Location And Items For May 19th, 2017

Every week in Destiny one specific member of the Nine stops by to barter with Guardians his exotic loot and gear. Starting this Friday he will be located in the Northern part of the Tower and will leave on Sunday. Destiny is out now for PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One.

Jumping right into the heart of Xur’s location, Guardians will be able to find the strange looking trader by heading to the North Tower and going next to the overlook balcony right near the Speaker. From here you can do whatever you want with him.

Xur’s exotic armor this week includes the Eternal Warrior helmet for Titans, the Skyburnners Annex helmet for Hunters and the Heart of Praxic Fire chest piece for Warlocks. Endgame players skip all armor pieces, as for newcomers and mid-level Guardians I’d actually suggest that you wait unless you are hard up for looking unique, then you might find one of the three eligible.

Next up comes the weapon that Xur has for May 19th. This exotic weapon comes in as the Bad Juju, standing to be a very solid and hard hitting Pulse Rifle. If you don’t already own this gun it’s worth picking up and keeping during your playthrough.

Sadly, Mesa Sean does not have his quick Xur video guide this time around, I guess Destiny 2 has him by the, well… you know. Instead Datto has a visual guide showing Xur’s inventory.

Below is a bulleted list showing all of Xur’s exotic items and his weapon of the week. Pricing is listed for all given exotic items, too:

  • (Titan Helmet) Eternal Warrior – 13 Strange Coins
  • (Hunter Helmet) Skyburner’s Annex – 13 Strange Coins
  • (Warlock Chest Piece) Heart of Praxic Fire – 13 Strange Coins
  • (Pulse Rifle) Bad Juju – 23 Strange Coins
  • (Legacy Engram) Chest Piece – 29 Strange Coins

TL;DR: Skip the armor unless you are trying to be “cool”. Pick up the Bad Juju, but skip out on the Bundles as well as the Legacy Engram. And as usual, items like Heavy Ammo Synths and Three of Coins are something that should be in your inventory, unless you are well stocked then it’s suggested that you don’t buy them.

Destiny is out now across PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One.
