One of the rare games to release in 2019 that wasn’t pozzed to the gills or pushing the alphabet soup agenda was The Game Kitchen’s Blasphemous. The game not only managed to deliver exactly what the Kickstarter backers had expected, but they also managed to give gamers a visually memorable experience, too.
Well, in addition to what they’ve already rolled out for the game, The Game Kitchen announced that an entirely Blasphemous The Stir Of Dawn free DLC expansion pack is due to go live, for free, starting August 4th for the Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and on Steam for PC.
The DLC will feature a completely robust New Game+, along with all-new Penance skills, and quality of life features.
In addition to all of that, brand new executions, new counter-attacks, and a brand new revamped map with fast-travel locations have all been added to the free expansion pack.
The game is extremely difficult and requires a lot of skill and patience to understand the enemy movements, the right combat maneuvers, and the tactics to overcome your otherworldly foes. It’s a Metroidvania with a heck of a lot of punch and a visual art style to match.
If you don’t already own a copy of the game, you can pick up a digital copy for the Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, or over on the Steam store for PC.
The digital deluxe edition for Blasphemous is currently discounted by 10% off for $34. Alternatively, if you already own a copy of the game, you can simply wait for August 4th to grab the new expansion pack for free, regardless of which platform you own the game on.
