BioWare Is Making Progress On The Next Dragon Age Game, As Per Mark Darrah

With the coronavirus going around, some developers aren’t able to execute tasks like before. With that said, BioWare is a team that’s now working from home while developing the next Dragon Age Game. Despite all of this, the executive producer at BioWare notes that the next Dragon Age game is still shaping up during these tough times.

After disastrous failures like Mass Effect: Andromeda or Anthem and ending up on the Traitors of America master list, both EA and BioWare are still at it when it comes to delivering new games.

For instance, EA and DICE’s next Battlefield game won’t debut until 2021, while EA and BioWare’s new Dragon Age game is slated to debut sometime in 2022 — according to chief financial officer Blake Jorgensen during a 2019 conference call back on October 29th, 2019.

Although the team has around two years to ship the game for public consumption, we learn from executive producer Mark Darrah that “working from home is hard.” However, the team is making headway in the progress department:

So there you have it, the next Dragon Age game isn’t coming out this year or next year but sometime around or after March 2022. Also, expect the next Dragon Age entry to launch for PC and next-gen consoles.
