Berkeley Bans Gendered Municipal Terms Like Manhole, Fireman, Policeman, Sorority, Fraternity

You didn’t read the headline wrong. It’s true, the city officials of Berkeley, California have banned gendered terms in the city ordinance guidelines and when referencing municipal codes. Yes, folks… we’ve reached peak Clown World status.

Local news station Kiro-TV 7 is reporting that the changes were passed “unanimously” by city officials, resulting in terms like such as “fireman” and “firewoman” being replaced with “firefighter”, while “policeman” and “policewoman” have been replaced with “police officer”, and terms like “manholes” have been replaced with “maintenance holes”.

This is not a joke.

The author of the bill, Berkeley City Council member Rigel Robinson, told CNN in a piece published on July 18th, 2019, that…

“There’s power in language. This is a small move, but it matters.

“Having a male-centric municipal code is inaccurate and not reflective of our reality. Women and non-binary individuals are just as entitled to accurate representation. Our laws are for everyone, and our municipal code should reflect that.”

In the Kiro-TV 7 report, they noted that this also extends to college campus codes as well. They will no longer be referred to as “fraternities” and “sororities”, but will be referred to as “collegiate Greek system residence”.

This is some next level lunacy.

Berkeley city officials also banned all new residential areas from having gas stove top ovens in order to comply with the Paris Accord, as reported by Kron4 News.

So now you don’t even get the choice of electric or gas stove top in new residential homes and apartments in Berkeley.

This is what degenerate Communism looks like in action, and it’s only going to get worse. Prepare for plenty of Leftists to come out in defense of these degenerate measures because they hate America and they want to see Western culture devolve into a state of dehumanizing hedonism and debauchery, while blurring the lines between man, animal, and mental illness.
