Bethesda issues out updates to fix their broken games that launched broken to only break those games further. Attempting to break the cycle of breaking their very own games, the company released a new patch for the re-release of DOOM I and DOOM II.
The update seemingly fixes the meme issue where players must log into their Bethesda.net account to continue playing one of the two re-releases of DOOM 1993 and 1994 respectively.
The Bethesda.net login requirement was intended for the Slayers Club to reward members for playing the classic DOOM games. However, the general public had to encounter said log-in screen.
As it stands now, folks who opted to purchase the re-release now have the option to skip the login screen.
In addition to the above, another issue is no longer looming around which is the disconnect notification during gameplay popping up:

You would think that all of these problems or bugs plaguing the re-releases of these games older than the average Fortnite player would be squashed well in advance, but I guess not.
On the topic of squashing bugs, Bethesda also tweeted out that the re-release of DOOM I and DOOM II will go through a bug cleansing to rid the game of such problems with one of them being a “permanent fix to further reduce the visibility of the optional login”:

Finally, the DOOM Trilogy — containing DOOM I (1993), DOOM II (Classic), and DOOM 3 — is a digital product (not physical) and is for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Bethesda also released DOOM I and DOOM II for iOS and Android devices for $4.99 each.
