Death Stranding Briefing Trailer Reveals Die Hardman Trying To Reconnect America

Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions have brought Death Stranding to Gamescom 2019. However, an off-screen recording of the seven-minute Briefing trailer has surfaced thanks to internet space magic. The closed presentation at the PlayStation booth reveals Sam having to trek westward to “make America whole again.”

According to website gematsu.com, the briefing trailer features Sam, Amelie, and Die Hardman, where both (Die Hardman and Amelie) explain the “make America whole again” mission to Sam in that he must travel west and reconnect the Chiral Network terminals scattered about the United Cities of America.

In addition to the above, Deadman and Amelie want Sam to finish what she (Amelie) started — by heading west and connecting the terminals her convoy set up — and then help rescue her from the Homo Demens in Edge Knot City.

Upon reconnecting these terminals will integrate them into the Chiral Web, which will de-isolate and connect the people of the nation once more — hence making America whole again. Sam decides to turn down “operation make America whole again” by telling Amelie and Hardman he doesn’t want to get involved.

“Help other travellers without ever crossing paths via asynchronous online gameplay. Send supplies, share safe houses and walk in the footsteps of fellow couriers to reunite civilisation.”

Lastly, the PS4 action-adventure game that is Death Stranding is slated to come out on November 8th, 2019.
