Sony rolled out the details for almost 10 free games that PS Plus subscribers will gain access to throughout November. The list was outlined over on the PlayStation Blog, where majority of the games that are free aren’t very impressive at all.
The November, 2017 line-up of PS Plus games is headlined by Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, which will be free from November 7th, 2018 all the way up until January 2nd, 2018. It’s literally the only decent game on the list, and I will admit that it’s decent enough fun for like half an hour or so. As a rail-shooter it’s a competently made title with a good atmosphere and great weapon handling. The shotguns feel meaty, the pistols are accurate, and the machine guns will have you feeling like Stephen Paddock at a country concert.
Anyway, the rest of the games are no where near as good as Until Dawn: Rush of Blood and Until Dawn: Rush of Blood isn’t even all that great. So what are the other games on the list?
- Worms Battlegrounds – PS4
- Bound – PS4
- R-Type Dimensions – PS3
- Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic – PS3
- Dungeon Punks – PS Vita
- Broken Sword 5: The Serpent’s Curse – PS Vita
Good goodness and I thought the November line-up of Games With Gold were bad. Microsoft’s biggest sin was abandoning a free title for the Xbox One that was Xbox One X compatible to allow gamers to access the new premium console’s 4K capabilities. Sony’s biggest sin was giving gamers a bunch of free games that a blind, homeless, deaf, drunk, quadriplegic vet wouldn’t take even if it was the only way to get a morphine overdose to end their misery.
The thing is, who exactly is Sony targeting with these games?
If you’re paying out your wallet’s butthole to play online and get some free games, who wants to play Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic on their PS3?
It’s either a sign that PS Plus has run out of good games or Sony is just being stingy.
The top comment on the thread seems to sum up the general sentiment most PS4 games have seeing this terri-bad line-up of games for PS Plus.
