There’s a free giveaway planned for this year’s Halloween, including a hot retrotastic game being given out courtesy of Retrotainment Games. All you have to do is have a snazzy Halloween costume ready and the willingness to use a bit of your Photoshop skills to add yourself into an 8-bit photo for a chance to win some free games or even a title packed into a classic NES cartridge.
The rules are simple: simply grab yourself a costume for Halloween and take a photo. You’ll need to Photoshop yourself into the image supplied by Retrotainment Games and tweet it at their official Twitter account between October 30th and October 31st for a chance to win a free digital copy of Haunted Halloween ’86 or a chance to get your hands on a physical copy of the game.
The rules for the promo are posted below.
To participate, simply photoshop your Halloween costume in our Haunted Halloween ’86 template (see image attached to this tweet) and tweet it back to us from October 30 – 31 with the hashtag: #hauntedhalloween86
Lastly, follow us so we can DM you your Steam key! pic.twitter.com/tSMSqH9e4x

Once you insert your photo into the template image, as depicted above, simply tweet it back at the Retrotainment Games account using the hashtag #HauntedHalloween86 and you could net yourself a free Steam key for the game.
But that’s not all. Those who have the best costumes on display will be eligible for receiving a special NES cartridge of Haunted Halloween ’86.
Lastly, we will be giving away a couple physical NES cartridge versions of Haunted Halloween ’86 to our favorite Halloween costumes!
Good luck everyone and Happy Halloween! #8BitLegit pic.twitter.com/5l1u8IEg9S

Whether or not the game is any good doesn’t really matter when it’s that easy to get your hands on a free copy. If you do feel like getting your hands on the game regardless of the Halloween giveaway promotion, you can pick up a digital copy from the Steam store or from the Xbox Store for the Xbox One.
