Nintendo announced that Resident Evil Zero, Resident Evil HD Remaster, and Resident Evil 4 will all be available on the Nintendo Switch starting May 21st.
The survival-horror games were revealed for launch on the Switch via the official Nintendo Twitter account, which made the following announcement on February 25th, 2019.

It’s a little late to the party, but essentially you gain access to three of Capcom’s most popular remastered games… well, that’s assuming Resident Evil 4 is the remastered version and not a piss-poor port of the one from the GameCube (or Jove forbid Ubisoft’s broken-arse PC port).
Funnily enough, a lot of people in the comment thread on Twitter are hoping that the Switch version of Resident Evil 4 is based on the Wii version of the game, which had motion controls and gyroscopic implementation so that you could aim with the Wii-mote. It was easily one of the best versions of the game due to this feature.
Another group of gamers are also hoping that Nintendo and Capcom can come to terms with providing physical carts of the games.
There are plenty of “no physical, no buy” comments in the thread. Of course, how many of them actually make up a sizable portion of the buying demographic is anyone’s guess. But even I’m part of the “no physical, no buy” group and only aim to get all of my Switch titles on physical carts.
Anyway, expect more info and trailers to drop on the games leading up to the May 21st release this spring, when Resident Evil Zero, Resident Evil HD Remaster and the fan-favorite Resident Evil 4 launch for the Nintendo Switch.
