Sucker Punch Posts Ghost Of Tsushima Narrative Writer Job Listing

Sucker Punch is currently looking for a Narrative Writer to create “great stories” in an “open-world game” that is Ghost of Tsushima. The interesting part of this job listing is that it’s looking for people who can create an “engaging narrative”  and that the person in question will help with secondary game content. Ghost of Tsushima is currently set to release exclusively on PS4.

Sucker Punch a year ago revealed some insight on Ghost of Tsushima in that we know the year of the game is set during the 13th century. We also know that the story will follow the conflict between the fearsome Mongol Empire and the formidable Japanese warriors on the island of Tsushima.

While all of this sounds interesting given that it’s all mixed in an open world, there’s still a lot that we don’t know about this game and what it has to offer gameplay wise.

In addition to the above, we might have a slight idea what players can expect regarding the world of feudal Japan during the Mongol invasion, though, thanks to a Narrative Writer job listing recently posted on Sucker Punch’s career page.

Although the position doesn’t provide all that much information, we do know that secondary game content will be a thing:

“Contribute to other creative areas of the narrative including secondary game content, dialogue barks, and writing content for marketing materials.”

Moreover, this means that we could see side-quests, fetch-quests, and other side content sporting a narrative. Although that’s assuming if Sucker Punch definition of secondary game content means those things.

Anyway, it’s interesting to see more and more job listings for Ghost of Tsushima pop up and provide clues as to what we can expect and when we might see the game drop for PS4.

If secondary game content actually means side-quests, fetch-quests, and other non-story related missions sporting a narrative in Ghost of Tsushima, would you be happy if those things were added in the game or no?
