Dragon Ball FighterZ Beta: Guide To Somewhat Play With Friends And Semi-Practice

Looking to play with your friends on Dragon Ball FighterZ beta? Are you also looking for a way to practice? This guide will teach you how to somewhat do both.

Notice: Both methods regarding Dragon Ball FighterZ Beta are not fully official and may lead to unwanted results. In other words, both following tips are proxy methods and are not official.

Bandai Namco and Arc System Works Dragon Ball FighterZ beta is currently available to play right now. But you can’t find your friends properly due to the way it’s setup.

How To Currently Play With Friends In Beta

There is a way to “increase” your chances of playing with a friend or friends. Upon starting Dragon Ball FighterZ up, a prompt asking to choose your region, server and lobby will appear.

In addition to the above, make sure that you and your friend pick the same lobby. Select a lobby near the bottom of the list that isn’t populated and plan with your friend a specific region that is or isn’t your own to increase empty lobbies. While this isn’t the best plan, your chances to meet up with your friend should be heightened.

Once you and your friend are in the same lobby/region, enter the World Match and select the same match type. Try to leave as many options open so the matchmaking algorithm won’t miss your friend. This matchmaking method for the beta is so far the best way to connect… for now.

How To Practice The Bootleg Way

Thanks to a certain YouTuber by the name of Sean Wonder, he’s found a workaround or bootleg way to practice in-game. You can do this by heading to the “Practice” area. Here you can use the Helping Hands tutorial and anything below that to practice.

Dragon Ball FighterZ beta is out now for PS4 and Xbox One.
