Games like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla game can be considered high-tier class games. It’s for a reason though. games like assassin's creed valhalla

The First in our list for games like assassin’s creed valhalla is Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Coming into our very first list, Zelda: Breath of the wild gives an atmosphere that is totally different from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla games, but still attains the elements that are similar between one and another. Mentioning the Leveling system, skill tree, all the quests that involve a puzzle-solving skill, and the open world. The game of Zelda itself is definitely old, dating back to 1987 but still considered one of the best games that are ever released.

Focusing on the main playable character named Link that awoke after 100 year-long sleep, then tasked to kill the Villain who once sealed but then getting stronger as it gains more power. From the story side, I have nothing to say. Pure magnificent. Gameplay is fun, not hard but not that easy either. Graphic, it’s pleasing to the eye with its Japanese Anime style. Definitely, it’s worth playing right after finishing the Assassin’s Creed video games.

Assassin’s Creed Origins.

The list won’t be enough if we don’t discuss the older brother of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, also the first game that indicates the new era of the Assassin’s Creed series. The AC Origins, tells the story of Bayek of Siwa – A Medjay and his journey in avenging the death of his brethren. This journey then will lead to the birth of the very first Assassin’s secret organization.

Every side of the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is worth mentioning as one of the games like assassin’s creed Valhalla. Graphics, top-notch. Stories, one of the best so far especially since it takes the tale of Assassin’s foundation. Gameplay? Definitely the best compare to the semi RPG system that Ubisoft used in the predecessor. Even though the map isn’t as big as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla but you will find it is good enough, especially if you decide to explore the world by yourself. Taking a walk, or riding the camel, it’s up to you as both of them are fun to do.

Dishonored

from an ancient-fiction story, into a steampunk-ish science fiction tale of an assassin named Corvo Attano, a falsely accused professional assassin who then takes a journey to kill every aristocrat that responsible for the murder of the empress and his daughter’s kidnapping. Dishonored is an action-adventure game with so many things that you can use in combat, including gadgets and skills.

What is so fun about this game is the element that you found in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla game. One of them is the time when you require to assassinate enemies using stealth and the way the story reacts based on your actions with the surroundings. Definitely recommended especially after you play the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and wish to get a similar-but-different vibe game.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice

The Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is one of the best games with an interesting storyline and the atmosphere that you get is like… man, I can’t get enough. Telling the story of Senua and her journey in taking back her lover’s soul from the goddess Hela. The Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is an interesting game.

There is no clear tutorial to play the game but there is a silent whisper that will help you in doing all the quests and puzzles. The game doesn’t really require you to level up in order to get stronger or even gain new skills to fight enemies. It’s the type of game that is only focused on completing the stories, uncovering the mysteries of the game in order to obtain the soul of her loved one.

What makes Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice worthy to be in this list is the story that is created based on Norse mythology and the way you play the game gives you a unique experience. I know there are quite a lot of differences with AC Valhalla but once you take the journey, you wouldn’t dare to stop until you reach the end of the stories.

God of War

I still remember playing this game when it was released on Playstation 2. It was massively fun in terms of gameplay, not easy but not that hard either and everything is definitely on point. And then right after five years of God Of War: Ascension, Kratos returns in making a mess in different mythology. Now he wields an ax called the Leviathan Axe and tries to take a fight with Odin. In the game, Kratos wasn’t alone anymore. He was accompanied by his son Atreus who will help him in a way and Kratos always called him “Boy”.

The game is fun, still the same vibe with the previous God of War Games but now with Norse mythology. The story, no question. Mesmerizing to play, enjoyable to watch. Graphics? I mean… it was released in 2018 so definitely better than the predecessor. Overall, this game is totally fun and I sometimes play it over and over again just to get the vibes that are similar to games like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Every aspect of this game is totally the same as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Especially with the story of Norse mythology as well as the realm that you can explore. It’s an action-adventure game, which means no leveling up is required. The fighting is combo-based so you just need to swing your ax at the enemies, then they died. Just like the traditional God Of War and I love it! Man. What a time to be alive to play this game. If you love God Of War, don’t forget to try the PS4 Assassin’s Creed Valhalla!

The Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is definitely an amazing game, you should check our review why it is still the best from the series. Finding the right one to play after finishing AC Valhalla isn’t that easy feat, but you can try all the list above and don’t forget to always enjoy the game, as that’s the reason why developers play games.
