Nowadays, you can easily recognize modern celebrities in popular video and online game characters.
Some of them served as an inspiration for developers, and others had an official contract to be
featured in the new release of a video game. It is always fun to watch celeb-based characters, and
here are the most popular ones.

Orlando Bloom. King of Avalon
This famous medieval mobile strategy released a new couple of heroes in March. A male character,
Orlando the Nightshade, is represented by famous Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom. The actor was
inspired by this game of adventure and lore and felt honored to get a character looking like him. You
do not have to upgrade your Game Karma to get this new character assisting you in fighting the evil
troops of Morgana.
Sir Sean Connery. MediEvil
A wriggling dragon with a well-known remarkable Scottish accent is an avatar of Sean Connery in this game. Connery offered his voice to the movie dragon in Dragonheart production in 1996. The MediEvil video game was presented two years later, and both dragon characters look pretty the same.
Helena Bonham Carter. League of Legends
The League of Legends game developers introduced a totally mad female character named Jinx, who reminds Helena Bonham Carter. The character has a super-sized armory and extensive technical expertise, and she adores beating havoc. These two ladies share the same hot temper and unpredictable behavior.
River Phoenix. Final Fantasy 8
Squall Leonheart is a new character in the Final Fantasy 8th edition. The game character designer was surely inspired by River Phoenix’s appearance, and Squall looks rather boyish. This young lady also has a violent temper.
Jean-Claude Van Damme. Mortal Kombat
The character of Johnny Cage in Mortal Kombat originates from the excellent fighting movie Bloodsport. Yet, the game character does not look as attractive as Johnny Cage in the film. But we have to consider that game development has changed a lot since the original Mortal Kombat was released.
Kit Harington. Call of Duty
Kit Harington presented villain Salen Kotch in the video game Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. He was pleased to join the space world, as he was always afraid of anything connected with space adventures. It was his personal way to fight his inner dragons and the first role of the main antagonist in a game.
Norman Reedus. Death Stranding
Norman Reedus became extremely popular after The Walking Dead TV series, and he is not a stranger to video games. First, he was noticed in P.T. in 2014. In 2019, his appearance was offered to the character Sam in Death Stranding, and it turned out to be successful again. Reedus does not play video games, but he knows how to make them so popular. Sam lives in the post-apocalyptic USA and works as a courier who unites separated communities across the country.
Keanu Reeves. Cyberpunk 2077
Keanu Reeves is not an active personage in this video game. He recreates the unforgettable character of veteran and rock musician Johnny Silverhand, but devoted gamers cannot influence the development of his character.
