So far without a western release, Dragon Quest Heroes 2: The Twin Kings and the Prophecy’s End has two nice videos and some screenshots showing giant battles and 30 minutes of gameplay. Koei Tecmo and Omega Forces upcoming Dragon Quest game is slated to debut in Japan on May 27th.
Those lingering around, not knowing what to think about Dragon Quest Heroes 2, or those who haven’t seen anything regarding Koei Tecmo’s hack and slash game, I think that this new info might help you out on that one. Two extensively long videos showing gameplay and special giant monster battles accompany new character reveals in a plethora of screenshots.
One of the videos offer a nice look at the handheld version of Dragon Quest Heroes 2 for PS Vita, which will be available to play on the PS3 and PS4 too. But before jumping into the gameplay, you can check out the screenshots showing the Drakulard, Atlus, and many other characters.
As seen above, giant monsters lurk around the colorful land and pose to be ever so dangerous, however they can be playable against other giants in a new large scale battle. Yup, this means that our smaller heroes will be able to take them on with their very own giant monsters. The big battle starts around 2:11, courtesy of V Jump.
The next video takes on more of an adventure rush with our heroes fighting through different landscapes and meeting other people along the way. We are also treated to some cut scenes here and there, showing our heroes take on other major tasks. You can check out the 30 minute long video by YouTuber Syaazaku2000.
The new entry to Dragon Quest Heroes 2: The Twin Kings and the Prophecy’s End will release over in Japan on May 27th. This will span across the PS Vita, PS3 and PS4. Like before, no western release date has been announced yet.
