Daring escapes, wild shootouts and unbelievable platforming is usually the order of the day for Nathan Drake from the Uncharted series. Well, all the action and adventure that Nate endures on the PlayStation can now be endured – in some small capacity – on PC via a GTA V mod.
Modder Z@gor managed to use Uraniom to port over Nathan Drake into GTA V from the PS3’s Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. Personally, the third game is still my favorite and the best out of the four titles in the series due to the consistent offering of Hollywood-quality set pieces and practically non-stop action from start to finish with a few cool twists and some awesome fight sequences. Unfortunately, the game didn’t have the best of graphics and the rather lower quality of Nate’s model is what gamers kind of end up with in GTA V.
You can check out Nate in action with the video below, showing the iconic hero in his dirty adventure garb, running and shooting.
Oh man, I love that they have Nate’s theme playing in the background while he does his poor man’s Indiana Jones shtick in the video above. That’s real slick.
With a proper parkour mod and a decent ENB setup, the game might even be able to capture some of that Uncharted magic.
If you need a little help installing the Uncharted 3 mod, there’s also a video available showing you how to download it and get it working in your copy of GTA V. Check it out below.
It’s only a two and a half minute process, so it won’t take you forever to get it all sorted. You can download the Nate mod right now, for free, by grabbing the file from over on GTA5-Mods.com. Now all they need is a Sully mod to say “Hey kid, watch your back!” and it’ll be just like playing the game on the PS3.
