One of the latest space traveling strategy games to hit Steam is Paradox Development’s Stellaris. The simulation RTS tasks players to conquer and investigate the universe, while at the same time etching their names across the cosmos. Stellaris is available now for PC via Steam. 

Grand strategies are a must in this game if you want to progress onward without any casualties. Being a space exploration game at its core, enormous galaxies patiently await to be discovered that are randomly generated, and hold key interaction points as noted below.

Now I know that randomly generated stuff can seem a bit lazy on the developers end, but sometimes I do have to admit that it does add a nice dose of discovery, and a new essence to what becomes dull and very familiar. The upside of randomized content is that once you are bored and very high in level, there’s something new to discover or something that’s unpredictable.

This all falls in line with the typical stuff that you would find in the average space RTS genre that calls for negotiating, grand battles, and other galactic choices. You can catch the official trailer for Stellaris courtesy of Paradox Interaction.
