Fragmented 16.6.5 Update Fixes Dupe Bug And Enemy AI Difficulty

Sci-fi RPG survival game Fragmented just received a new update, bringing it to version 16.6.5. This update addresses a lot of bug issues, including a duplication glitch, sound problems, UI bugs and weapon bugs that wouldn’t show up correctly. Developer Above and Beyond’s game is currently 50% off and is for PC.

Whether you are into sci-fi action survival games, or you are waiting for Fragmented to become a bit better mechanically, now is your chance to see if the game is worth jumping back into or checking out with the latest 16.6.5 Update.

The update fixes a lot of issues that range from animations, the vehicles, AI difficulty and various sounds. This also includes switching weapons when mounted on vehicles, and selecting them in the hotbar, which is noted by the devs to be a highlight to some players.

Joining the new fixes are enemy AI units chasing players outside of their spawn region, making them more dangerous. Kiting has also been changed making enemies break off from combat if lead out of kiting distance.

Those who aren’t familiar with the game, you can read Fragmented’s official description or watch a gameplay video by YouTuber DemoStorm, as seen below.

“Stranded in a hostile alien world, you must fight to survive. Hunt, harvest, craft, advance skills, and build using local resources along with technology from your voyage. Join others online or play offline in the world of Fragmented.”

As of now, the game is running a special that takes off 50% from its base price, which drops the price down from $19.99 to $9.99. It’s best advised to read up on the game before purchasing it since it holds an overall rating of “Mostly Positive” and a recent rating of “Mixed.”

You can get Fragmented by hitting up Steam Early Access. For more information on this game and about the devs, you can head on over to the team’s official website.
