Pokemon Sun And Moon Trailer Unveils More New Pokemon

The Pokémon Company just released a new video showing off some new Pokémon that will be in the newer Sun and Moon games, which seem to vary in their uniqueness. Pokémon Sun And Moon will come out for the Nintendo 3DS, and will be available to purchase on November 23rd.

Ever since Pokémon Red and Blue hit the scene I’ve been a fan of the ongoing Pokémon games. The original games introduced tactical, casual yet complex battles that were easy enough for fans to jump in and have fun, but hard enough (especially gym leaders) to make players re-think their line-up of Pokémon.

The games always kept the four move setup forcing players to think what moves were better for buffing, playing defense or offense. As the series continued more options and choices started to expand outside of battles, like breeding and competitions to see how smart, or beautiful your pocket monster was against other Pokémon.

Speaking of different types of Pokémon, Sun and Moon reveals eight more in a new trailer. These new Pokémon range from Tapu Koko, Charjabug, Vikavolt, Drampa, Bruxish, Cutiefly, Togedemaru, and Zygarde’s two new forms.

In addition to the new Pokémon, I sometimes feel like they are somewhat lazy in design or in concept. One new Pokemon that falls into that category is Charjabug, but that’s just me. I do hope that we get more complex designs that are simple to understand but that aren’t a rehash of previous pocket monsters.

Anyways, you can check out the video trailer below, which shows the new Pokémon in action, thanks to the PokémonCoJp YouTube channel.

If you are interested in the upcoming dual release of Pokémon Sun and Moon, folks will be able to get a hold of both when the games release on November 18th in North America, and November 23rd in Europe.
