Fallout 4 Mods Add Pre-War Buildings, Optional HUD And New Sniper Rifle

New mods are now available for Fallout 4 that adds more buildings before the war, optional HUD changes and a lore friendly sniper rifle that brings customizable attachments with it. Fallout 4 and plenty of its DLC is out now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

If you are into building up the environment around you and making the wasteland look more appeasing than before, there’s a new mod that lets players instantly drop better looking building right then and there on the spot. The mod by ParcelStudioAndGames adds new categories under “Structures>Metal”, “Pre-war Sanctuary” and “Post War Sanctuary” to the workshop. This means that you can build your own Sanctuary homes with different structures.

as you can see from the image above, the house looks pre-war and different from the rest. If you want you can get this mode by heading over to ParcelStudioAndGames’ Nexusmod page.

The next mod up is by Gopher. If you are looking for display mods that clean up your vision and de-clutters the screen of HUD icons, then this mod might be the one for you. Instead of disabling your HUD instantly, icons will only appear if you perform a certain action pertaining to that icon. After a few seconds the icon will go away and will only re-appear after said action is performed.

If you don’t like the above settings you can manually change the HUD options by toggling them on or off in-game. A Video by Gopher himself shows how the mod works below, and if you like it you can get it by heading over to Nexusmods.

Those who’ve played Fallout 1, 2, 3 and New Vegas will remember that there was a sniper rifle in the roster of weapons that didn’t quite make the cut into Fallout 4. The weapon missing from the forth game is the DKS-501 sniper rifle. Utilizing a list of attachments like scopes, barrels, stocks and so on, you can re-create its past iterations from the first, second, and third games as well as New Vegas. MCDReviews has a video below showing LtCommander‘s mod.

Fallout 4 is out now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Mod support is currently available for PC and Xbox One, and will soon be available for PS4 players during August.
