Persona 5 New Gameplay Videos Reveal Persona Summons And Fishing

I know those waiting for the  long release date for Persona 5 are trying to avoid spoilers until its release, but if you don’t mind taking a few peeks at Atlus’ next installment in the Persona series, you’ll be in for a treat. The latest gameplay trailer covers all of the playable characters’ Persona summons, and fishing.

Set to launch for PS3 and PS4 on September 15th in Japan, and on February 14th in the West, many fans can’t wait for the upcoming release for Persona 5. Like always, the publisher and developer usually release trailers and gameplay clips to inform their fans about what’s coming up next in their that particular game. In this case, the gameplay trailers cover Persona summons and their respective advantages, and fishing.

The short gameplay video covers the Protagonist, Morgana, Anne, Ryuji, Haru, Makoto, and Yusuke summoning their Personas. The video shows multiple battles and enemies, which also spotlights certain enemies’ weaknesses. This is made possible with the elements shown below:

  • Protagonist – Eiha (Death/Dark)
  • Morgana – Garu (Wind)
  • Anne – Agi (Fire)
  • Ryuji – Zio (Lightning)
  • Haru – Psyo, Mapsyo (Psychic)
  • Makoto – Frei, Mafrei (Nuclear)
  • Yusuke – Bufu (Ice).

Persona 5 will debut early over in Japan (which is expected) and will release on September 15th. As for the West, the game will launch next year on February 14th. Both versions will be playable on PS3 and PS4.
