The Last Leviathan Early Access Update Fixes Bugs In v0.1.1

If you enjoy traveling the seas and venturing forth to other islands with mystical creatures nestled somewhere in between, Super Punk Games’ The Last Leviathan aims to bring just that… and more. Speaking of more, the devs recently updated the game while it’s still in Early Access in an attempt to eradicate bugs In version 0.1.1.

Adding on to the update, Steam’s Summer Sale help drops the initial price down from $9.99 to $8.99, which is 10% off from The Last Leviathan base price. Before jumping into the update and explaining some of the changes, if you are new you can check out the game’s official description below.

“The Last Leviathan is a physics-based, ship building and destruction adventure. On your voyage to uncover where The Last Leviathan lies you will discover a world full of rival ships, mythical monsters, wrecked flotsam, physics-puzzles and hidden treasures.”

For starters, the update addressed a lot of bugs that cause terrible experiences throughout one’s voyage across the great seas. The changes include fixes for UI problems, CTRL keys, better optimization, and  better sound effects. Other changes include a window so that players can see their ships when editing, and a better transition when going from first-person to third-person.

I’m sure this will help with the physics-based water and ship interaction that makes up one of the core mechanics of the game — the other core mechanics include adventuring and giant mythical creatures. Some of the other activities revolve around battling single or multiple ships and upgrading your own ships to be the best out in the ancient seas of Middenhir.

If you need a visual peek at the game, the devs have an older trailer that you can check out that runs close to two minutes, thanks to Super Punk Games.

Steam’s Summer Sale is currently running which drops the price of The Last Leviathan from $9.99 to $8.99. Although the price drop isn’t by much, if you are interested in the game you can now get it and save one buck in the process by hitting up Steam.
