Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide Set To Hit Consoles On October 4th

Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide came out back on October 23rd, 2015, for PC. The devs recently decided to bring the first-person hack and slash game to both PS4 and Xbox One. As of now, End Times – Vermintide will hit said consoles this year on October 4th.

That’s right, Nordic Games and Fatshark announced today that they will work together to produce a retail version of Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide, which will be for PS4 and Xbox One. According to Reinhard Pollice, who stands as the Business and Product Development Director at Nordic Games, he noted that…

“The combination of Fatshark and Warhammer seems too good to be true. We do have quite a few fanboys in our team, who played Krater, Lead and Gold, and – of course – also played the hell out of Warhammer Vermintide on PC. To say we are stoked to work with Fatshark on Warhammer Vermintide for consoles and the physical edition for PC is the understatement of 2016 in my book.”

As one might guess, a new trailer is up and out for viewing pleasure. Not running that long, the video trailer sports a narrator that explains the setting, and what players will be doing in Vermintide, if you don’t already know. You can check out the video courtesy of Fatshark.

To be honest, I’ve never played the game before, so I can’t say whether it is good or bad. But, it does look like it could be fun, if you are running a mission with a legit team.

If you are like me and never played the game before, you can further investigate it now by heading over to Steam. However, if you want to wait for it to come out for consoles, it will not only bring the Last Stand mode and Sigmar’s Blessing, but the most recent DLC Drachenfels on release.

Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide will launch for PS4 and Xbox One on October 4th. For more information on this game you can head on over to vermintide.com.
