We finally get to see a bit of story teasing in this latest Gamescom trailer for Battlefield 1, which EA and DICE just published. Not only that, but the devs also revealed a bevy amount of desert warfare, showing the armored soldier, horse riding, trains, weapons and much more. Battlefield 1 is set to hit PC, PS4 and Xbox One on October 21st.
Battlefield 1 just received a new trailer showing intense close-quarters-combat on horses, and in armored vehicles. We also get to see quick clips of dog-fighting between different planes, and some added footage of boats and the game’s story mode.
If you are also interested in the “armored warrior” and “flamethrower dude” they make an appearance in the new Gamescom trailer. With that said, you can check out the near two minuet long video by Battlefield, which clocks in at one minuet and 54 seconds.
I’m still on the fence with this game seeing how EA is behind it. With Battlefield’s recent history of having broken launches and glitches, it really has me worried for Battlefield 1, but I’m sure the beta should clear up all questions that I have for this game.
Speaking of the beta, players who sign up as a Battlefield Insider will be able to choose their platform, if done before August 21st. This will grant players early access to the Open Beta for Battlefield 1.
Additionally, the beta will include modes like Rush and Conquest, which will sport the new Sinai Desert map. The map, of course, will hold the armored train as a “behemoth”, along with 64 players all on the field.
