CoroCoro Screenshots Reveal New Pokemon Sun And Moon Evolution Forms

If you are into Pokemon and can’t wait to capture the newest pocket monsters in Sun and Moon, you’ll be in for a surprise with the added editions of Alolan Meowth and Alolan Marowak. As of course, there are newer Pokemon shown off in the latest issue of CoroCoro, which joins the new Alolan forms. Pokemon Sun And Moon are set to hit the Nintendo 3DS on November 18th.

In an attempt to revisit the year one Pokemon found on classic versions of Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow, the Pokemon Company and Game Freak took to a handful of originals and gave them Alolan forms. This obviously changes the meta of that specific breed and type of Pokemon for a more flexible kit.

I’d image the Alolan variants of Sandshrew and Sandslash will bring some hefty changes to the table, seeing how the two are vary reliable creatures, including the other Alolan variants.

This now brings us to the newly pictured Alolan entries that come in as Alolan Meowth and Alolan Marowak. These two are vary iconic and helpful Pokemon, especially the former thanks to the move payday granting extra funds when battling.

Before showing the screenshots of the new Pokemon, we also gain some information regarding their types.

The first is Nuikoguma. Standing as the precursor of Bewear, it holds a type of Normal/Fighting and was recently announced in a video trailer. The second Pokemon is Shirodesuna and is a sandcastle, its type is Ghost/Ground. The third new pocket monster is Sunabaa. It too is also Ghost/Ground and is the smaller version of Shirodesuna. This now brings us to Yowashi, which stands as a water-type fish. Its base and evolved forms can be seen below, along with the others.

It’s also worth noting that the Pokemon in the screenshots above are going by their Japanese names. This means that their names are prone to changing when they release over in the West, which shouldn’t be a surprise to many.

As noted above, Pokemon Sun And Moon are set to hit the Nintendo 3DS on November 18th.
