Extreme Forklifting 2 Is A Real Game And It’s On Steam

Devm Games recently released their single-player, 3D work-oriented simulator called Extreme Forklifting 2. As ridiculous as it may seem, yes… it is a real game and it is available for purchase on Steam.

While a lot of the simulators that come out are usually goofy and designed to be parodies of some sort, Extreme Forklifting 2 is actually serious. In fact, it’s very much like Euro Truck Simulator or Extreme Ship Simulator. The game even supports various steering wheels that you can hook up to your PC for the most authentic forklifting around.

You can see what some of the gameplay looks like with a seven minute video that Jason published over on YouTube. Check it out below.

Strangely enough, the game’s physics are a lot more stable than I thought they would be. The objective is to pick up objects using the forklift and carry them to designated areas that are highlighted on the map. Score is ranked based on how quickly you can pick objects up and set them down on the glowing targets.

Objectives get increasingly difficult as time goes on, with different objects requiring certain amounts of care to ensure that they are picked up and placed down properly.

As one person mentioned in the Steam review section, it’s “perfect for those that smoke too much weed for a real forklift job.” I’m pretty sure someone said the same thing about Goat Simulator.

There really isn’t too much else to Extreme Forklifting 2 other than picking up pallets and setting them down in different areas. There’s also support for controllers and rumble features as well.

The Steam store page doesn’t mention much else about the game but for only $1.99 I can’t imagine that it would actually contain much else. You can pick up a copy of the game for 20% off the regular price for the first week of its availability. For more info feel free to check out the Steam store page.
