Fallout 4 Mods Add 4K Textures, Armor, Weapons And Debris Removal

If you are looking for some more mods to make Bethesda’s Fallout 4 more enjoyable, there are four new mods that are out that might make your wasteland better. These mods come in from Doodlezoid, Redportal, TrickyVein and ScottyX2. Fallout 4 is out now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

The first mod up is by Doodlezoid, who feels that the vanilla version needed some good ‘ole 4K ground treatment. And, yes, I do have to agree with the modder that the ground looked tired and like it needed some 4K help.

Not that you can really tell with the quality of the screenshot below, but in-game the difference is very clear. If you seek to bring out more richness in your wasteland, whether you choose 1K, 2k, or 4k resolution, you can get Doodlezoid’s mod over on NexusMods.

The next mod up is by Redportal. Commonly known as Assaultron Miscellaneous, this mod brings a plethora of Assaultron parts to the table, which can be equipped as armor.

I should note that you will need the Automatron DLC to see some of the applicable parts available for specific companions and characters. For more information on this mod, or if you want to get it, you can head on over to NexusMods.

Don’t you remember that fighting game from the DreamCast, the one named Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein? Well, if you do, TrickyVein’s mod holds some nice similarities to the weapon wielded by Hayato Kanzaki. This means that you will be able to use the plasma blade in Fallout 4 with this mod.

I should mention that without modifications, the weapon does raw energy damage. It is noted by the modder to be affected by perks acquired through magazines to increase energy and melee damage types.

The video above comes in courtesy of TrickyVein‘s YouTube channel. You can get this mod by heading over to NexusMods.

The final mod comes in by Scottyx2. This mod makes the houses scraped turn into houses again. It also cleans the road, repairs light fixtures, removes debris on land and in water, flattens out terrain, repairs roof tops and bridges, and clears up frame-rate issues.

The mod can be found on NexusMods. If you are unsure about this mod, a video below shows all of the above in action.
