The Pokemon Company and Game Freak revealed a bevy amount of new Pokemon, moves and different forms of generation one type Pokemon. This includes different Alola types, Z-Moves and much more. Pokemon Sun and Moon are set to come out for Nintendo 3DS on September 18th.
I enjoyed playing the older Pokemon games like Red, Blue and Yellow in the past. Catching different generation one types back in the day always seemed special. Well, if you liked Pokemon like Sandshrew, Vulpix and Exeggutor, they will now sport different Alola forms than before. These forms literally change the meta of that specific type of Pokemon and its abilities, as well as its look.
For starters, the new Alola types consist of Exeggutor, Vulpix, Ninetales, Sandshrew, and Sandslash. As for the new Pokemon that are divided by separate titles (Sun and Moon) are Minior, Gumshoos, Fomantis, Lurantis and Mudbray.
Looking over to the newly implemented Z-Moves that connect both the trainer and Pokemon together. Folks will find that if the trainer’s Z-Crystal is the same type as the Z-Ring, and the Pokemon’s is the same as the one that the trainer is using, the Pokemon will unleash an ultimate move that can only be used once per battle.
Running for five minutes long in length, the video trailer details each and every new type of Pokemon that was showcased today, as well as the new Z-Move system. You can watch the new video below.
If that wasn’t enough for you, the captured screenshots below depict each of the newly added Pokemon in the Sun and Moon series. Running from the Alola alternate forms to the newly added pocket monsters, they are all up for your viewing pleasure.
