Slain: Back From Hell New Update Adds More Content And Features

Do you like traveling through hellish landscapes? Do you like playing an old hero with long flowing rock-god hair? If so, you will be able to do all of this in the revamped edition of Slain: Back From Hell . Gore, blood and demon slaying are all made more prominent in the latest update for the game that just dropped today, and it arrived with a new trailer.

Guts, glory kills and epic steel swinging all finds its place in Slain: Back From Hell. Published by Digerati Distribution, and developed by Andrew Gilmour, the 2D side-scroller that is much like Castlevania, has a new trailer showing off its new contents.

Before jumping into the new trailer, you can read the official description that details what Slain: Back From Hell is all about:

“Slain: Back from Hell. A heavy metal inspired arcade combat with puzzle elements and gore galore. Stunning visuals and true old school gameplay accompanied by the most metal soundtrack you’ve ever heard.”

I don’t know about the most metal soundtrack ever, but it does sport some seriously heavy metal tunes. However, it also seems to hold more merits than just cool music, seeing how its Steam rating went from “Mixed” to “Mostly Positive”. In addition to its rating going up, a lot of people are saying that they like that the new update addresses quite a few of the problems that originally plagued Slain, although it sounds like there are still a few slight problems floating around.

If you want, you can check out the newly updated video trailer showing Slain: Back From Hell in action, as seen below.

Lastly, the amount of content and new features are quite long to list but they do add more meat to the bone than what the game had at release. For starters, enemies are a lot harder, sporting more tactical patterns. There will be more enemy types to fight, better controls, more weapons, better scaling with checkpoints and health, and much more.

If you want to check out more pertaining to Slain: Back From Hell, you can either check out the update page, or head on over to the main Steam page, which the game runs for $12.99.
