Agatha Christie: The ABC Murders Heads To iOS, Android Sept 29th

The point-and-click, mystery puzzle game that launched for home consoles and PC is making its way to the Apple devices running iOS and Android smart phones and tablets starting September 29th.

Microids and Artefacts Studio announced that the mobile version of Agatha Christie: The A.B.C. Murders is currently set to arrive on the iTunes App Store and the Google Play store starting September 29th next week.

Players take on the role of Hercule Poirot, attempting to solve a murder by the A.B.C., murderer. Players will have to examine various scenarios, question suspects and complete puzzles in an attempt to solve the murders. This includes engaging in various sequences where players will utilize an observation first-person mode to parse minute details and uncover clues that are not readily visible to the human eye.

Similar to the Sherlock Holmes games, there’s also the inclusion of interrogations, where players will have multiple dialogue choices in questioning various suspects using Poirot’s insight. One of the other key features of the game are the little grey cells… an element where players will reconstruct clues and crime scenes through a series of questions. You can see how the game plays out and makes use of some of these features with the trailer below.

The game is typical point-and-click and a lot of the features are similar to what you would find in Focus Home Interactive’s Sherlock series. If you missed out on the game when it launched for the home consoles and PC earlier this year, you can grab a digital copy of the title for iOS and Android devices next week for only $6.99. Voice-overs will be available in both French and English, with subtitles available in over six languages.
