Antraxx, Mech Game Seeks Votes On Steam Greenlight

A recent submission to Steam Greenlight for once is a game made by developers that seem to care about making a decent game, with actual gameplay shown in the trailer on Greenlight. This game is Antraxx and it comes from developers Antraxxed. The team is currently looking for votes on Steam Greenlight.

The PC game currently has a demo out over on Antraxxed’s main site. But, if you want to stick around to learn more about this mech shooter the game’s official description sits below:

“Antraxx is a massively multiplayer mech shooter with a heavy emphasis on teamwork and replayability with completely customizable mechs and zones. Boasting multiple game modes and in-depth faction politics and economy systems, allowing you to play the game how you wish.”

Antraxx features collectable parts and weapons to outfit your mech to your playstyle. Once you are done customizing your mech’s arsenal, test its mettle by going into dangerous sectors to see how it fairs against other mechs.

For those that like to create stages and make things of their own, players will be able to acquire parts of land throughout the world, and can grow their own factions and create special events for other players to participate in.

After you are done creating your very own mech, you will be able to upgrade it with special gear like jetpacks, lasers, teleportation, rocket launchers, lasers, cloaking devices and other unique abilities and parts stashed around the world.

The official Greenlight trailer is up for you to look over, which shows the basics behind Antraxx and what players will be able to partake in on its release.

The next video shows Antraxx’s tutorial. I should note that the game is shown in its Alpha stage both in the top and bottom videos. This means that the game is prone to changing in the future, and could see graphical or mechanical changes later down the road.

With that said, you can watch the second video below.

If you find this game to be interesting you can support it over on Steam Greenlight. If you are leery about the upcoming project, you can play test it by hitting up the demo over on antraxx.com.
