I wonder how the other mainstay actors in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare feel about having their famed usurped by the UFC PPV draw Conor McGregor or the HBO pretty-boy Kit Harington? Because by all accounts the only thing most people are talking about now is how good the story looks thanks to Harington and exactly how big a role McGregor will have in the final game.
I was curious at first if McGregor would be a good guy or a bad guy, and it’s obvious he’s better suited as a villain. He appears to be a right-hand man to Kit Harington’s Admiral Koch. I just hope they find a way to get McGregor to respond to Harington’s Koch by saying “He ain’t do’in nuttin’.” in a thick Irish accent. The only thing that would have made it better is if Nate Diaz comes to save the main character, Captain Reyes, by throwing a water bottle at McGregor.
But you’re interested in seeing the villains, the good guys, a smarmy robot and plenty of space-age explosions in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, so feel free to check out the new trailer below.
I’m going to be completely honest: that actually looks really good. Story wise.
The ragtag team of the Tigress and Retribution battling back against the seemingly indomitable forces of the SDF.
Gameplay wise there’s all new zero-gravity combat, the ability to go into and out of your spaceship, all new space combat, and lots of new types of levels and designs that players from the futuristic concrete jungles of Earth to the zero-degree icy tundras of the far-side of the galaxy. The gameplay is still typical fast-paced, arcade-style FPS combat, so if you like mowing down faceless hordes for about four hours, you’re likely going to take a liking to the campaign mode of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
The game is due for release on November 4th for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Need more info? Hit up the official website.
