Are you a fan of Warhammer? Do you like playing apocalyptic games on PS4 or Xbox One? If you answered yes to both, Games Workshop and Fatshark have Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide heading your way on October 4th. Vermintide is currently out now for PC, and released back in October of last year.
Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide is a game that sees either a single player or up to four players fighting to survive against a horde of Skaven. In total there are five characters to choose from and each hold special abilities that are good for warding off the rat-men.
There’s not much to the game in terms of story, but if you are the type that likes to play near-endless missions with friends or by yourself in the realm of Warhammer, I think Vermintide’s got you covered.
“Vermintide takes place in and around Ubersreik, a city overrun by Skaven. You will assume the role of one of five heroes, each featuring different play-styles, abilities, gear and personality. Working cooperatively, you must use their individual attributes to survive an apocalyptic invasion from the hordes of relentless rat-men, known as the Skaven.”
The five playable characters featured in Vermintide are the Witch Hunter, Bright Wizard, Dwarf Ranger, WayWatcher and the Empire Soldier. Specific enemies act entirely different from other enemies and call for specific classes to take them out. However, if you are good enough you can do the job on your own.
A new trailer is visible to watch, which not only shows some in-game footage of Vermintide but the game’s announcement for consoles. You can check out the two minutes long trailer below.
Set to drop on October 4th for Xbox One and PS4, Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide can be seen below for those who aren’t familiar with the game, or want to see the game before purchasing it. Thanks to GhostWolfGames -Let’s Play you can see close to 40 minutes of Vermintide.
