If you have been experiencing problems with buying chests in Stunlock Studios’ Battlerite, along with other problems like queuing matches with other players, there’s some good news for you in that hotfix 0.8.2 addresses those problems. The MOBA PvP game is currently out now for PC via Steam Early Access, and runs for $19.99.
Those who are new to the scene and don’t know what Battlerite is will find that it is a top-down MOBA PvP team-based game. Focused on an arena shaped field, players will fight fast-paced magical battles against other players for total domination:
“BATTLERITE is an action-packed team arena brawler. Experience the unique combination of a top-down shooter with a fast-paced fighting game. Challenge friends and others in a battle of reaction, unleashing the champion within you.”
However, there were some problems that plagued combatants in the not so distant past. Queuing up matches against other players had some problems, along with not being able to buy chests that would display a message saying “Price invalid, try again later”.
With the most recent updates or hotfixes entitled as 0.8.1 and 0.8.2, all of the above problems are said to be addressed according to the two update pages. Those who are curious about the changes in the hotfixes will find that projectiles no longer travel through walls or too far, a sound bug that would stop audio effects from playing has been fixed, and chests now work properly.
Those looking to jump into Battlerite and have some MOBA fun will find that the game currently has a special Halloween discount that takes 10% off of its initial price dropping it down from $19.99 to $17.99, which the discount will end on November 1st.
