Although Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of The Forgotten Past for the 3DS is out now, Nintendo isn’t done promoting the game just yet. Releasing a new trailer going over DQ7’s story, we also get to see other features sprawled throughout the game. Fragments of The Forgotten Past released over in Japan back in September of 2013, while the West got the game last month.
I guess this is Nintendo’s way of alerting unaware fans of Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of The Forgotten Past that the game is out now, although it’s a month late. Anyways, a brand new trailer covers the overall story regarding DQ7 for the Nintendo 3DS, as well as other features nestled in the RPG.
If you aren’t familiar as to what is going on in Fragments of The Forgotten Past (without spoiler of course), the 3DS remake sees players travel to the past to restore lost and forgotten lands, while bringing peace back to the world consumed in darkness.
The classic-battle system is also present in the game spanning across the large world, which unlocks several items, levels and other goods. Additionally, there are quests that unlock more land that hold other noteworthy stuff, adding more to the base experience.
Though the game is already out worldwide at this point, if you haven’t seen Fragments of The Forgotten Past for the 3DS and wish to see the game, you can check out the newly posted trailer below. Running near two minutes in length, the new trailer comes in thanks to Nintendo‘s channel.
Lastly, the game sports over 30 vocations that you can explore. Vocations in the world of DQ stand as classes, and provide additional skills and abilities that can help you when traveling.
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of The Forgotten Past is currently out now for the Nintendo 3DS, which launched over in Japan a few years back and for the West last month.
