Ubisoft wanted to revisit a previously released stage that was shown during E3, but this time at night while doing stealth takedowns. The video explores a team in synchronization taking out the Santa Blanca Cartel. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands is set to come out next year on March 7th, for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
Honestly, my interest in Ghost Recon: Wildlands dropped after Tom Clancy’s The Division released with a list full of bugs that not even after three months of patches could fix. I’m mostly afraid that the game will be downgraded on release and will sport the magical touch of Ubisoft glitches. However, I could be wrong and the game could release quite solid, but only time will tell.
In the meantime while we wait for Wildlands to release, a new 12 minute long video stands to help fill in the four month gap and shows us another way to complete the same mission that was introduced to us a few months back during E3.
This time around, the video doesn’t sport obnoxious scripted developers talking as if they are actual players, but the lead designer of the game explains what each players’ action will do and how they will change the mission for surrounding teammates.
The game as of this moment is said to hold over 60 vehicles that players will actually be able to drive, or fly, and a list of weapons to obtain and customize. However, the latter is to be expected, but I just hope that there won’t be any bullet sponges, or restricted missions that ban you from using certain weapons. I remember in some older Ghost Recon games they wouldn’t let you use every weapon in the game on specific missions to make the map more challenging — which was frustrating.
Anyways, you can watch the latest video entitled “Stealth Takedown Mission”, which runs for 12 minutes. The video comes in by Ubisoft US channel.
