Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare Trailer Surpasses 3.3 Million Dislikes

It takes a lot to get people to really dislike a video. Usually dislikes are reserved for crappy reboots, crappy remakes, crappy sequels, crappy music videos, crappy YouTube poop, and those super crappy misleading full movie uploads that only contain a picture and a link to a website that gives your computer aids. However, in a rare instance of complete disregard for the rules of dislikes, gamers have battled against Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare enough to make its debut trailer one of the most hated videos on all of YouTube, managing to hit 3.3 million dislikes.

International Business Times recently did an update on how many people have been hating on the video, along with revealing that the actual install size is only 47GB.

The dislikes is the real story, though. The 47.94GB install is to be expected. Previously a lot of people thought that the game was going to require more than 100GB of story space, but I think that’s only if you install both Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, since both games are quite hefty and the added DLC will easily put the total package over the 100GB margin.

Even still, that doesn’t detract from the fact that so many people just really don’t like the idea of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Tapping into the future theme four years in the role seems to have come back to bite Activision on the behind, where-as DICE and EA are rolling in the dosh tackling the World War I themes in Battlefield I. It’s quite hilarious.

Activision and Infinity Ward even tried going over and beyond by tackling some space themes and flight sim mechanics in the upcoming title, but even that wasn’t enough to sway over gamers who have become disgruntled with the annual outing from the mega-publisher.

With Titanfall 2 not doing so well during its launch week and Battlefield 1 eating up all the sales, I’m really, really curious to see how Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare does this Friday when it launches on November 4th for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. It’s possible that for the first time in a decade, EA might be able to beat Call of Duty in the first week sales outing. Time will tell.
